Major Responsibilities:
? Responsible for the quality, cost control, and scalability of the PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) product line to enable a reliable source of revenue for the company.
? Identify and coordinate engineering testing, product development, and improvement of PAYG products.
? Directly reporting to and assisting the CTO, in particular in technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals and streamline company policies and rules.
? Responsible for team members, team development, and development, and its representation in management and company at large.
? Responsible for the technology and product development, in particular by the development of prototypes, testing, validation and maintenance of existing products by using methods of embedded systems and power electronics engineering as well as machine to machine communication and others, in close combination with the data team and product and project managers.
? Lead and contribute to the establishment of procurement and production processes, both locally and internationally, that ensures the scaling of product deployment at safe and cost-effective design and operation
? Support of field operations, internal and customer staff, where needed, in particular by ensuring technology transfer to the operations team.
? Maintain and communicate product-related technical documentation, including manuals, and standard operating procedure documents.
? Communication of technical information in a variety of forms with customers.
Others:
? Perform other relevant duties as per requirement.
? Uncovers and understands Business and Operation’s needs and translates them into requirements.
? Understands, researches and follows technical trends in pay-as-you-go and IoT. Able to assess emerging products and companies to measure their potential value or threat to the company and its products, as well as make recommendations on which new technologies to in or leverage.
? Follows competitors and conducts capability analysis regularly.
? Assesses and addresses technical risks.
? Understands and analyses data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.
? Uses database queries to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc
? Defines success criteria for testing and product acceptance
